LEGO® and Sanrio announced a multi-year partnership on 6 October 2026, bringing the world of Hello Kitty and Friends to LEGO® sets for the first time.

The first products will arrive in 2027. The announcement promises a wide range and confirms Hello Kitty alongside other fan-favourite characters, but no set numbers, prices, exact dates or model line-up have been revealed yet.

A new range rather than a one-off experiment

The multi-year wording points to something broader than a single commemorative model. That makes the announcement relevant to AFOLs too: Sanrio's characters appeal across generations, while LEGO® has not yet said whether the range will consist entirely of playsets or also include display models.

For now, the confirmed facts are simple: the partnership is official, the debut is planned for 2027 and more details will follow.
